Located in 3599 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Mai Kai restaurant esembles a Polynesian Village, complete with a wooden plank bridge entrance, thatched roofs, flaming torches and museum quality artifacts. The Mai Kai’s gardens itself feature waterfalls, lagoons and giant tiki sculptures.
Opened in 1956, the Mai-Kai stood alone on the outskirts of Ft. Lauderdale. Now, over 50 years later, the little paradise features 8 Polynesian style Dining Rooms, Molokai Bar, Gift Shop, tropical gardens and an exciting Polynesian Revue.

For private dining and events, the Mai KaiĀ Restaurant offers a wide variety of arrangements for groups, from an intimate cocktail reception, to luncheons and dinners, and dinner & show parties.
